1)First we need to open the command prompt to do it just press Windows+r then type cmd and hit enter.

2)Now go to the drive where your file or folder is located in your system.Here my file is located in E drive so to move from C drive to E drive in command prompt just type E: and hit enter.

3)Here i hide a folder name Techtotos in my E drive to do so just follow the syntax.

drive_name: attrib folder_name +s +h +r

To hide Techtotos folder in my drive is use the following command.

E:attrib Techtotos +s +h +r

After typing the above command my folder Techtotos is hidden and is not visible now.

4)Now to unhide the hidden folder just type the following command.

drive_name: attrib folder_name -s -h -r

To unhide Techtotos folder in my drive is use the following command.

E:attrib Techtotos -s -h -rhide files and folders in windows

after doing that your folder will be visible.This trick can be used to hide files and folders in windows.
